A medium-bodied red with round tannins and a hint of wood, but attractive juiciness and softness.
The 2021 Le Pin Beausoleil is quite floral and airy, with beautiful energy and lots of power. This is a particularly restrained vintage for the Château, but all the elements are very well balanced. A burst of red/fruity fruits, rose petals and lavender underlines the finish.
The 2021 Le Pin Beausoleil from an ambitious, larger-than-average, six-hectare vineyard on the clay-limestone plateau of Saint Vincent de Pertignas is a velvety, seamless, medium to full-bodied wine reminiscent of dark berries, loamy soil and cigar wrappers. It was planted in high density with a significant proportion of Cabernet Franc and aged in 225 and 400 liter barrels, of which about 40% are new.
Dark garnet red with violet reflections on the broad rim. Sweet plum fruit, hints of cherry and strawberry; an attractive bouquet. Medium body, red currants, fresh, racy acidity, mineral-lemon finish; a lively food companion with verve and length.

Chateau le Pin Beausoleil is grown on the best plots of the estate, one of 5 hectares near the chateau, in Saint-Vincent de Pertignas, on a beautifully situated, well drained clay-limestone plateau and on a smaller plot of 2 hectares in Merignas, in the middle of a small forest, the soil here also has a wonderful clay-limestone structure.
