A medium-bodied red with round tannins and hints of wood, but attractive juiciness and softness.
The 2021 Le Pin Beausoleil is quite floral and lifted, with lovely energy and tons of lass. This is an especially restrained vintage for the château, but all the elements are nicely balanced. A burst of red/pruprlich fruit, rose petal and lavender, punctuates the finish.
From an ambitious, over-performing six-hectare estate situated on the clay-limestone plateau of Saint Vincent de Pertignas, the 2021 Le Pin Beausoleil is a medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless wine evocative of dark berries, loamy soil and cigar wrapper. Planted at high density with an appreciable percentage of Cabernet Franc, élevage is in 225- and 400-liter barrels, some 40% of which are new.
Dark garnet with purple hues towards the broad rim. Sweet plum fruit, hints of cherry and strawberry; an attractive bouquet. Medium-bodied, redcurrants, fresh, racy acidity, mineral-citric finish; a lively food companion with zing and length.

Chateau le Pin Beausoleil is grown on the best plots of the estate, one of 5 hectares near the chateau, in Saint-Vincent de Pertignas, on a beautifully situated, well drained clay-limestone plateau and on a smaller plot of 2 hectares in Merignas, in the middle of a small forest, the soil here also has a wonderful clay-limestone structure.
