Celebrating our first fully certified organic wine.

From now on, this blog reports the latest news and impressions at the Chateau le Pin Beausoleil.

In June 2022, we celebrated the relaunch of the website of Château le Pin Beausoleil. Please send us your feed back about what you like or what you miss on our site. This relaunch was following the successful primeur tastings in April 2022, where we were able to present our first fully certified organic wine, Château le Pin Beausoleil 2021. These two events were two very important events for our winery. In particular, we are proud that we could conclude the conversion phase towards organic viticulture to receive the EuroCert label for certified organic wines. This project was only possible due to the relentless effort of our technical director, Igor Leclere, who had to face very difficult weather conditions in 2021, with frost, long periods of rainfall and difficult conditions during the harvest.

Good critiques of the vintage 2021

The current season: The challenge of a hot and dry summer
The months of July and August have been particularly hot and dry, causing a national crisis of water shortage and wildfires in France. Despite these extreme weather conditions, which lasted from July to early September with only a few interruptions, most of our vines seemed to resist the drought and look healthy, as you can see on the photograph below. We expect a vintage of outstanding quality in 2022.

Harvest starts next week

This is the news for today. We will report on the next big event – the harvest of the 2022 vintage, which we expect to start in the second week of September. Stay tuned.
