Celebrating our first fully certified organic wine.

From now on, this blog will report on the latest news and impressions at Chateau le Pin Beausoleil.
In June 2022, we celebrated the relaunch of the Château le Pin Beausoleil website. Please send us your feedback on what you like or what you miss on our site. This relaunch followed the successful Primeur tasting in April 2022, where we were able to present our first fully certified organic wine, Château le Pin Beausoleil 2021. These two events were two very important occasions for our winery. We are particularly proud of the fact that we were able to complete the conversion phase to organic viticulture in order to obtain the EuroCert seal for certified organic wines. This project was only possible thanks to the tireless efforts of our Technical Director Igor Leclere, who had to contend with very difficult weather conditions in 2021: frost, long periods of rain and difficult conditions during the harvest.

Good critiques of the vintage 2021

The current season: the challenge of a hot and dry summer
The months of July and August were particularly hot and dry and led to a national crisis of water shortages and forest fires in France. Despite these extreme weather conditions, which lasted from July to early September with only a few interruptions, most of our vines seemed to withstand the drought and look healthy, as you can see in the photo below. We expect a vintage of outstanding quality in 2022.

Harvest starts next week

That’s the news for today. We will report on the next big event – the harvest of the 2022 vintage, which is expected to begin in the second week of September. Stay up to date.
